Right now, you are probably feeling anxious, apprehensive and uncertain if health coaching is for you. Be courageous and make a conscious decision to connect with me where we can meet each other, and you get a 'taste' of what it would be like to work with me. Take the first step of being in control of your own health remembering that your health is entirely in your hands.
During this 30 minute session I will be a little inquisitive as I want to get to know you, as well as you getting to know me. Before we chat have a think about some of your lifestyle habits, patterns and challenges and of course, goals and aspirations. Want to take a first step to a healthier you?
These sessions are flexible and you can make amendments as we go along depending on how you feel. Some clients need more support than others through the different stages. As your health coach I am not telling you to change your entire lifestyle. However I will be identifying any habits that don’t serve your health well and help you through the process of change providing tools, knowledge and processes allowing you to make better choices for your health. You are always in control of the sessions as these are for you and only you.
I will encourage you to learn the value of eating whole real foods that provides all our nutrients for health, the importance of sleep hygiene for restoration, breath-work for stress release and gaining mind and body focus, and the personalised physical activity for you, all of which also help us to achieve hormone balance.
Joseph Pilates main focus was on postural muscles for strength and stability of the deep torso and abdominal muscles and is still the core approach of Pilates today. He created the concept “Contrology”, which I just love as this is what Pilates practice is all about. This relates to developing the use of the mind to control muscle movement and create body awareness.
Pilates practice promotes mind/body connection, a strong, balanced body for spine health and posture, along with improving flexibility. Pilates practice is a beautiful form of movement to add into your life!
Pilates sessions are 50 minutes.
